We get a lot of questions of how our generators are created. The simple answer is, we coded the generator in Visual Basic 2010 Express. The question that comes with this answer is, how did you figure out how to make the codes work? By work, they mean how did we figure out that the codes were valid to redeem (e.g. CD Keys, Serial Numbers, Card Codes).

The Process

The process is normally done by purchasing a large number of codes for the target game generator we want to create. Sometimes when we get program requests and along with these program requests, we ask users to submit their used codes. The second choice is more cost efficient since we don’t have to use money from our own pocket to make a generator.

How was the first generator created?

Most of the team has been making generators for a long time. The first generator that most of us every created or encounter would have be Starcraft CD Key Generator. This generator showed that making a CD Key Generator was possible. For Starcraft, cd keys were very easy to generate after you figure out the pattern. The pattern is easy to figure out because the whole cd key used only numbers. Blizzard, now known as Activision Blizzard, got smarter and never used just numbers for serials ever again.

The difference between Game Card Codes and CD Keys

For CD Keys, they don’t need to be activated on purchase. For example, if you try to steal a $50 PSN Card from a retail store such as Target, you will find out it wouldn’t work. This adds an extra step for coders. There are exploits for going around this, or this site wouldn’t exist. The exploits, itself, aren’t simple to find. Most generators out there are fake.

Fake Generators – What are they?

Since we’re on the topic of fake generators, let’s talk about the popular ones distributed with torrents. Nowadays generators are released with a few codes hard-coded within. This means a generator would have five serials/cd keys within and it will keep “generating” those five numbers in a random order maybe. This is far from a real generator as it doesn’t generate a unique code each time. There are also fake generators that are coded with these methods where it will generate used/fake codes for their users. Our generator coded by our specialist generates a unique and valid code every time. This is the definition of a real generator.

Why do people use generators?

Some people want to try out the game before buying, so they want a test-drive. This is not the most popular reason as most people don’t want to waste their hard-earned money. If you can find an alternative free way, why waste the money? I wouldn’t. Some users have lost their previous codes, so they want to play the game again without spending more money. Generators basically create free and unique codes to their end users.
